Kitchen Ceramic Tiles and Stone in Textured Kitchen

Creative use of Kitchen Ceramic Tiles and Stonework for a Textured Kitchen

A very ornate kitchen using high quality finishes in the form of kitchen ceramic tiles, granite and other stone elements and a high degree of design detail.

A good source of kitchen design ideas

The extensive use of kitchen ceramic tiles to horizontal wet areas and also vertical surfaces is not only practical but allows texture and patterns to add different weights to tastefully decorate this kitchen.

The design has an almost Spanish or even South American theme. Using wrought iron handles and rustic look plumbing fittings do well to finish the theme with their detail.
Interestingly the oven and hobs have been left modern and finished in stainless steel as a contrast.  Three sources of water are in the kitchen with two wash and preparation areas and a moveable spout and faucet over the cooking hobs a very convenient feature.

Rich timber cabinetry and an abundance of decorative kitchen ceramic tiles and stonework create a wonderfully textured kitchen. There is no time to relax, your eye is kept very busy in this kitchen!

The cooking area is recessed into a purpose built alcove which captures odors and vapors to be extracted through mechanical ventilation and extraction .(Remembering the rule that for any extraction unit to work properly there also needs to be make up air supply from somewhere. You will find that if the extract is on and the room is sealed i.e no doors or windows open it will not be as efficient as if there is a source of air allowing the extract to move air rather than try and create a vacuum).

While the flowers are a good decorative feature the central island is actually very well designed having an abundance of storage space below with a very large work surface for food preparation or serving. The top edge of the kitchen island is ornate but still very practical allowing the surfaces to be easily cleaned.

Overall a practical and functional kitchen with loads of decorative flair, from the wooden shelving to show off small treasures to the detail in the timber cabinetry and the stonework around the cooking area. The floor is also stone and provides a warm and rich glow to the room and is simply laid without adornment, the detail being in the stones natural texture.
